Burn scars adorn the left half of Shigeyuki's face, winding their way down his left arm. As such, the Raen is rarely found without his mask unless he's actively on duty with the Sekiseigumi.Appearances to the side, he's found himself a local celebrity. Donning the mask, Shigeyuki frequents a few favorite corners of Kugane's markets, hamming up the trickster persona his mask lends his musical performances, much to the amusement of whatever crowd might be watching.Shigeyuki is a naturally easy-going man who places a high priority on his family and friends, no matter how annoying some of them may be. It can, however, be sometimes difficult to break down the initial barrier he keeps between himself and the unknown.

Bard: Shigeyuki dons his mask and sings, strums his shamisen, or both publicly in the evening hours in Kugane.
